Hiroshima Resources

  • Get Hiroshima

Get Hiroshima is an online English language publication created in 1999 to help visitors and residents alike find plenty to do in our beautiful prefecture. This website features a wide variety of information, from detailed listings of events to helpful restaurant guides. If you're a new Hiroshima JET and would like to stay caught up on current events in our area, please join the Hiroshima JET Facebook group! It's a great place to find events, make friends, and get all of your burning questions answered. It is a closed group, so you must first put in your request to join and then wait to be approved. After that, have fun!
  • Hiroshima JET's Website

The Hiroshima JET's website has content which is helpful for JETs all over the prefecture. Each page was created with introductory information and helpful links to make your life abroad easier.
  • English-Speaking Medical Information

In our experience, finding an English-speaking doctor/hospital has proved to be a huge source of anxiety for those of us with minimal Japanese-language ability. If you fall into that category, there are helpful resources around the web that reference many names of hospitals and clinics across the prefecture with multilingual resources. There's also a very helpful guide on GetHiroshima with recommended doctors, so be sure to visit the website listed above.
