Today’s Topic: How to Successfully Book a Hotel Room.

Japanese: 予約をおねがいします。
Romaji: Yoyaku o onegaishimasu.
Translation: I’d like to reserve a room please.

Japanese: いつからいつまでですか。
Romaji: Itsu kara itsu made desu ka?
Translation: From what day would you like a reservation?

Japanese: 四月二十日から四月二十五日までです。
Romaji: Shigatsu hatsuka kara shigatsu nijyuugonichi made desu.
Translation: From the 20th of April to the 25th of April.

Japanese: 何泊ですか。
Romaji: Nan paku desu ka?
Translation: For how many nights?

Japanese: 何人お泊りですか。
Romaji: Nan nin otomari desu ka?
Translation: How many people are staying?

Japanese: 二人です。
Romaji: Futari desu.
Translation: Two people.

Japanese: 別のお部屋をご用意しますか。
Romaji: Betsu no heya o goyouishimasu ka?
Translation: Shall I prepare separate rooms?

Japanese: 違います。ツイン部屋をお願いします。
Romaji: Chigaimasu. Tsuin heya o onegaishimasu.
Translation: No. A twin room please.

Japanese: おタバコを吸いになりますか。
Romaji: Otabako o suininarimasu ka?
Translation: Do you smoke?

Japanese: 吸います。/ 吸いません。
Romaji: Suimasu/ suimasen.
Translation: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
