(Update! Click here to see the winners of the 2010 Winter Photo Contest!)

Thanks to everyone who entered the Wide Island View’s 2010 Winter Photo Contest, sponsored by Flutterscape.com! We’re thrilled with the fantastic photos that readers submitted from all over Japan. We received 33 entries in all, and it will certainly be hard to decide our favorites.

Our five contest judges will rate the photos and the Top 3 winners will be announced later this week. Winners will get to choose one of three prizes offered by Flutterscape: a Mazinger Z action figure, a set of Dragonball Z toys, or a summer yukata.

In the meantime, please enjoy this slideshow of all the photos that were submitted. To view the slideshow, be sure to wait until this webpage is fully loaded and then click on the first photo. It should pop up in a black box. Mouse over the left or right sides to see arrows that you can click to cycle through each photo.

For more chances to win cool prizes, be sure to check out our 2010 Spring Photo Contest. Prizes for the spring contest come from White Rabbit Press.

I should really get around to voting for the ones I like. I’m a lazy judge.
